About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Outdoor Adventure Coordinator. You will be responsible for leading an evidence-based outdoor experiential program, outreach and recruitment, and supervising events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and coordinate an outdoor adventure and leadership after-school program.
- Lead activities such as character development, team building games, outdoor adventure activities, art projects, service learning, and meaningful dialog and reflection.
- Provide supervision to youth participants through safety procedures, discipline, and mature decision-making.
- Collect, analyze, and report data regarding attendance, behavior, perceptions, and achievements of participating youth.
- Represent Ignacio Youth Services through positive lifestyles and act as a role model to local youth.
Requirements:
- Experience working with middle school and/or high school age youth in various environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
