JF&CS is now seeking a full-time Lead Case Manager and Supervisor.
PURPOSE: To assist Holocaust Survivors in getting the services they need in order to live independently and with dignity and to supervise other case managers in the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide case management to Holocaust Survivors that meet the eligibility criteria of the Claims Conference grants which includes assessing their needs yearly and as needed using the Diagnostic Assessment tool, helping them get services, and making appropriate referrals.
- Help clients with reparation and Blue Card applications.
- Draft and maintain case management notes in client files in Sales Force.
- Collaborate with the Director and other program staff relating to other grants and programming opportunities.
- Provide supervision to other case managers working with Holocaust Survivors, which entails meeting with each case manager every other week, reviewing diagnostic assessments and other requests or documents completed by them.
- Review all client files with other case managers periodically for compliance with grant guidelines and completeness.
- Act as liason for the pro bono hearing aid and dental programs for Holocaust Survivors.
- Participate in supervision meetings with the Director of Holocaust Survivor Services every other week and as needed.
- Attend monthly Holocaust Survivor Services Team Meetings and Aviv meetings twice a month.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree in social work or counselling strongly preferred.
Candidates who are selected for employment must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening as well as a pre-employment drug screening. Employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory completion of both the background check and the drug screening. Additionally, if applicable, tuberculosis testing (TB) and fingerprinting may also be required.
