Housing Stability Case Manager (Full-Time, Cape May County)
Jewish Family Service (JFS) is seeking a Housing Stability Case Manager to support individuals and families at risk of homelessness. This role focuses on homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing, helping clients secure and maintain stable housing through advocacy, case management, and resource coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and develop individualized housing stability plans.
- Provide case management and support services, including outreach, intervention, and referrals.
- Help clients connect to community resources, including social services, financial assistance, and housing opportunities.
- Work closely with landlords and property managers to secure housing placements.
- Maintain accurate documentation in HMIS and complete required program reporting.
- Collaborate with the Atlantic County Board of Social Services, AHA, and other housing providers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counseling, or a related field (Criminal Justice considered for AHA or Jail Reentry).
- Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid NJ driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Schedule & Location:
- Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
- Based in Cape May Court House, with occasional off-site work.
JFS encourages licensed professionals to pursue clinical licensure by providing a Clinical Supervision Program designed to provide clinical supervision to full-time employees with an active LSW or LAC resulting in the achievement of the LCSW or LPC license.
