Primary responsibilities involve operations planning and implementation, marketing planning and implementation, ordering products, managing inventory, coordinating the routes, mobile pantry truck operation, engaging volunteers, and serving clients
with dignity, equity, and inclusion. This position is performed primarily outdoors and will require the Coordinator to spend multiple hours a day outside in all weather and climates. Days and hours of work are generally 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Food Security Programs Manager to coordinate the following:
- Coordinate, drive, and carry out the weekly schedule for Mobile Food Pantry services.
- Engage community partners to develop pantry sites in areas of need, including food deserts, neighborhoods with high density of refugees or low-income families, LBX sites, college campuses etc.
- Perform recruitment and outreach for the program, and lead program distributions.
- Offer program compliance insights and guidance, and execute program surveys as needed/assigned.
- Conduct client intakes; submits and maintains all appropriate records and logs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Establish key relationships with community partners to provide holistic services
- Conduct outreach to potential Mobile Pantry participants and identify opportunities for new sites.
- Process incoming product, rotate stock, and monitor inventory levels.
- Assist with data entry and monthly reports.
- Respond to special circumstances presented by client/volunteers (walk-ins, special needs, referrals, conflicts, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, orderly environment that meets or exceeds sanitary and safety guidelines/regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable grant, government regulations, and health codes.
- Help load the product on and off the truck.
- Help ensure that the warehouse storage area complies with safety regulations, and ensure that the mobile pantry operates safely, including COVID-specific safety guidelines.
- Practice proper food safety and inventory control.
- Represent Jewish Family Service with professionalism, dignity, and respect when interacting with customers, staff, volunteers, and the community.
- Attend staff meetings, conferences, and other meetings as required.
- Have regular and reliable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent credentials.
- Two years of work experience in the human services field
- Bi-lingual Spanish or Russian speakers preferred.
- Minimum of 25 years of age.
- Have a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
- Have a clean motor vehicle driving record- no moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Enjoy working with a non-profit social service agency serving a diverse population.
- Comfortable operating a mobile box truck.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry cases up to 50 pounds in weight for a sustained time while stooping, twisting, lifting overhead, and bending repeatedly.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to ascend in and out of the truck repeatedly
- Ability to work in a variety of weather and temperatures during seasonal weather changes and to work outside for hours at a time during operations
- Ability to work independently with some guidance and direction.
- Team player, able to interact and communicate clearly, patiently, and respectfully with volunteers, staff, clients, and donors.
