Summary:
Responsible for maintaining a clean environment for residents and staff. Assures, as a working leader, the timely cleaning of units and common areas.
Responsibilities:
• Cleans public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios
& windows, floors, furniture and common areas.
• Reads resident information sheets to be aware of any changes in routine or resident needs.
• Prepares deep cleaning schedules and ensures they are implemented.
• Responsible for cleanliness of resident's units and all common areas.
• Ensures cleanliness of partner lounge and other offices in the community.
• Maintains accurate records to the Executive Director, Business Office Manager, Environmental Service Director as needed.
• Inventories supplies and equipment.
• Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service.
• Assists with training and orientation of new Housekeepers.
• Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
• Other duties as assigned.
