Full time position : Monday-Thursday 8 : 30-4 : 30, Friday 8 : 30-1 : 30, all Jewish holidays off plus paid vacation.
Communications Responsibilities :
- Prepare & distribute weekly newsletter, referencing community announcements.
- Update and maintain website content ensuring information is accurate, current and user-friendly.
- Maintain photo database of shul events and programs for use in future communication.
- Serve as liaison to graphic designer for various Shul graphic design needs.
- Communicate with members, interacting in a flexible and compassionate way, including synagogue members, board of directors, potential members, etc.
- Create and distribute all mass emails, including upcoming holiday & event announcements, funeral notices and targeted emails for specific email lists.
