The Development Manager, Events is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all development-related events to support Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School’s mission. This role works closely with the development team, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure that events align with organizational goals, foster donor engagement, and meet revenue targets. The Development Manager, Events reports to the Director of Development.

Key Responsibilities :
Event Planning and Management
- Plans and executes approximately 12 annual events, including fundraising galas, donor cultivation / stewardship events, alumni gatherings, and other special initiatives.
- Develops and manages detailed event timelines, budgets, and project plans.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of events are seamless and within budget.
- Collaborates with the Communications department to conceptualize marketing materials, including event registration, attendee communications, and follow-up processes.
- Tracks expenses, providing regular updates to the development team.
- Maintains event records, including attendee lists, sponsorship details, and post-event evaluations.
- Analyzes event outcomes and provides recommendations for future improvements.
