What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Consultant position at JFC Global?

Are you an experienced accountant with a strong background in SAP and costing? We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented SAP Cost Accountant to assist our client with a unique project that requires expertise in both SAP and cost accounting. Our client, in the greater Lancaster area, has recently implemented SAP but is facing challenges, and as a result, they need an expert to help clean up processes and resolve costing issues. This role requires someone who can bring order to the chaos, create and implement effective processes, and ensure smooth operations moving forward.

Accountant Consultant Key Responsibilities:

Identify and address costing issues stemming from SAP implementation.
Develop and streamline processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with the internal team to understand current challenges and implement solutions.
Provide expert guidance on SAP costing to resolve ongoing issues.
Attend onsite meetings occasionally, but the majority of work can be done remotely.

Accountant Consultant Qualifications:

Strong experience in SAP (required.)
Proven expertise in cost accounting and process improvement.
Ability to work independently and solve complex issues.
Excellent communication skills to explain needs and provide solutions.
Willingness to work in a contract role with a flexible schedule.
