Overview :
As part of a dynamic, highly skilled team of psychotherapists recognized for excellence in providing trauma-informed, person-centered psychotherapy services, this Counselor (LMHC / LCSW) position is responsible for delivering outpatient psychotherapy and teletherapy services to youth and families across diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform psychotherapy sessions with assigned clients and groups.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in electronic health records as required by the program.
- Return phone calls promptly, usually within 24 hours.
- Develop and facilitate community education presentations as determined by the supervisor.
- Meet agency productivity requirements as determined by the supervisor.
- Complete required assessment tools and progress notes promptly and in compliance with internal and funding source documentation requirements.
- Meet agency productivity standards as set by the supervisor.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the service population, cultural competency, and awareness of socio-economic issues.
