Accounting Specialist

Job Type: Temporary - 2-3 months
Location: Rockledge, FL 329955
Work Schedule: 100% in office
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $22/hr - $24/hr

Sanford Rose is looking for an Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to assist a client on a temporary basis for an immediate medical coverage! This role is a mixture between AP and AR, with heavy use of intermediate excel.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor AP/AR for all accounts
• Provide support to the Account Manager in the managing of the relationships with company partners.
• Research and resolve issues for both vendors and franchisees as it relates to the vendor accounts.
• Continuously work to improve policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensures accurate up-to-date department documentation exists and is filed appropriately.
• Monitor National Account expiry dates.
• Prepare pricing agreements for National Account renewals and additions.
• Organizes and updates National Account documents.
• Other projects as needed.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• 3-5 years of accounting experience (AP & AR)
• Proven ability to manage large volumes of data and large amount of lines in excel
• Excel - Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP's experience
• A.A. Degree a plus but will accept additional experience instead
• High aptitude for detail, with a proven ability to multitask.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and organize tasks to meet expectations.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Professional in demeanor, with a high level of integrity.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to establish relationships with others.
