About The Job:
JG Development, inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Production Manager to lead a team of laborers, carpenters, and lead carpenters. The production manager is responsible for growing the team by training, inspecting, and holding the team accountable to their goals.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Create training protocols for lead carpenters, carpenters, and laborers.
- Determine hiring needs based on pipeline and current needs for manpower.
- Work with HR, attend interviews for candidates, and assist with offers.
- Ensure leads follow training protocol and document achievements and training needs.
- Train the lead carpenters and field crew on software, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Guide, mentor, and coach field crew members.
- Document issues and work with the team to resolve.
- Approve field time off.
- Create weekly manpower schedules for field staff.
- Ensure each job site is visited to monitor progress, quality, safety, and assist with questions.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with team members on projects.
- Ensure appropriate reports and documents are done per job.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALIFCATIONS NEEDED:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
· Experience managing organization-wide compliance issues, such as OSHA and building codes
· Experience making decisions that impact the organization’s operations, revenue and reputation
· Strong knowledge of supervisory best practices
· Proficient in software programs, Microsoft Office- word, excel, outlook, etc.
· Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance is required; with the ability to travel within Wisconsin and other states as necessary
· Successful completion of background check
