Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify invoices for accuracy and obtain internal approvals.
- Code and input invoices and credit card transactions into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements, communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including accounts payable reporting.
- Support the finance team with additional administrative duties (including phone calls) as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred).
- 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
