We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and manage all AP/AR functions across our organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and driving process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AP/AR team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to AP/AR to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to resolve billing/payment issues promptly.
- Oversee cash transactions and perform reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
- Manage payroll journal entries and collaborate with HR/payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to ensure financial accuracy at month-end close.
- Handle the processing and filing of 1099 and W9 forms in accordance with IRS regulations.
What You Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in using accounts payable platforms such as Bill.com, Ramp, or Airbase.
- Demonstrated experience managing AP/AR functions across multiple subsidiaries.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and balancing workloads.
- Solid background in handling cash transactions and performing reconciliations during month-end close.
- Experience managing payroll entries and ensuring accuracy in payroll processing.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in AP/AR management.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Sage 100, ADP, and Airbase platforms.
