Prominent NY PEDIATRIC office is looking for a full-time administrative assistant or Receptionist.

We are looking to fill a key position for a person who stands out as a self-starter, with the ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast paced work environment. The right candidate should be intelligent, hard-working, quick to learn, and dedicated. The assistant will manage all the daily scheduling and organizational needs of the Practice Manager and doctor, in addition to assisting with patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must be a flexible person with a driven mindset, an eye for detail, and excellent ability to anticipate. This position has the potential to grow into an office manager role for the right candidate.
This is an entry level position however, we require the following skills:

-Receptionist & admin experience a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the practice manager with daily tasks
- Answering and triaging incoming calls
- Welcoming and announcing all visitors, and patients
- Creating and organizing patient charts
- Scheduling patient appointments
- procedure prep & patient care
- Reviewing lab results
- Ordering specimen pick ups
- Insurance authorizations
- Medical and Billing Record Keeping
- Assisting MD with office procedures, as necessary
