Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (North America) is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's business (mainly automotive exterior parts, such as bumpers, etc.) to serve JMPT’s factories in China & Mexico, also implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
This role requires years’ work experience and a deep understanding of the North American automotive market, familiar with the major automotive OEMs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop potential new customers within the major automotive OEMs in North American region.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, to win business for company’s current and future products.
3. Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
4. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals, while maintaining competitive pricing in the marketplace.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure a seamless customer experience.
6. Prepare regular reports to HQ.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
2. 10 years of business development experience in automotive industry, familiar with the market environment and major automotive OEMs in North America, with keen market insight and analysis ability
3. Result-oriented, self-motivated, excellent planning and execution skills, able to independently develop and execute business development strategies
4. Excellent communication skills and business negotiation skills, able to establish and maintain good relationships with partners
