Jill Howard Design Studio is hiring a part-time Project Administrator to join our Interior Design team in Charleston, SC. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys being in a creative environment. This is not a design position.
Responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with designers to request vendor quotes, enter design items, and create proposals in Studio Designer software
- Process and expedite orders and pay all vendor invoices
- Prepare and send invoices, collect and post invoice payments in Studio Designer software
- Post expenses and vendor payments
- Enter inventory
- Correspond with the bookkeeper
- Keep track of freight retainer payments and balances
- Monitor, track, and follow up on progress of orders and purchases to ensure accuracy and timelines are met
- Manage project binders and project files
- Identify issues with orders and review with the Interior Designer to execute solutions
