Description
A service BDC representative, or Business Development Center representative, is a customer service professional who works in a dealership's service department.
Responsibilities:
- You'll answer internet leads from manufacturer and third-party websites, answer phone calls from customers looking to schedule service for their vehicle and continue to reach out to your existing customer base through phone, text, and email daily.
- Scheduling and verifying appointments, then follow up phone calls
- Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our products.
- Greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
- Determining each customer's vehicle service needs and making appointments accordingly
- Maintaining contact with customers to ensure they are happy with our service.
- Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
- Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Possess phone skills for both employee and customer phone calls
- Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs.
- Be organized, alert, professional and courteous
- Be committed to 100% customer satisfaction
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel program
