Responsibilities:
The Service Advisor is the face of the dealership for service customers. It is the Service Advisor’s responsibility to present and sell needed products, and or, services to the customer in a professional manner while adhering to the manufacturer’s published maintenance schedule and requirements. In doing so it is expected that the Service Advisor will build rapport with the customer to promote customer satisfaction and customer retention.
- Greet Customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information
- Build relationships with customers
- Advise Customers on the value & importance of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines
- Generate & provide customer with a complete & accurate estimate of needed repairs
- Perform customer billing
- Answer incoming service calls
- Keep customers up to date on their service status
- Schedule & facilitate customers reservations
- Conduct business honestly & maintain exceptional Customer Satisfaction (CSI)
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a keep busy mentality
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
- Basic understanding of automotive technology terminology
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
