What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Specialist position at Jimcor Agency Inc.?
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle entry of new clients
- Correspond for paperwork as needed
- Maintain client related updates
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Update Submission related contacts
- Maintain agency commissions in Admin and Commission sheet
- Maintain Agency/Producer workflow
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualification/Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year Insurance experience, preferred but not required.
- Analytical skills to identify gather and organize information and provide recommendation.
- Customer focused attitude and customer service skills to resolve inquiries quickly and effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative to complete assignments and obtain results
- Ability to work in a team environment to support overall profitability initiatives
- Solid organizational skills including: time-management, prioritization and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
Education*:
- Insurance 101
- New Employee Series (PIA)
- Business Skills (USLI, work with manager to determine which classes are best)
*If a new associate, all classes should be taken within the first 18 months of employment.
