Social Media/ Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Social Media Marketing and Content Specialist, and will plan and create exciting and engaging digital presence online. They are a natural communicator, great at gathering stories, quotes, and other content and matching it with the perfect photo or graphic.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Promote and tell our story on social media

· Proficiency in content creation and social media management

· Oversee and manage all the social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, Spotify, Tik Tok, Podcasts, etc.

· Develop a monthly schedule with graphics, photos, and caption copy

· Create and edit viral-focused social media content

· Ability to work quickly and with deadlines

· Brainstorm exciting and engaging ways for people to interact online

· Monitor analytics and report on content marketing metrics to reflect the effectiveness of the content strategy

· Relates well to others, builds effective relationships, and communicates efficiently

· Monitor and respond to messages and comments in a timely manner

SKILLS REQUIRED

· Experience with video editing with CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Premier Pro, or an equivalent platform.

· Ability to create basic graphics, quotes, and overlays for photos in Canva or Adobe

· Knowledge of Mailchimp and familiarity with email newsletter marketing

· Familiarity with Hootsuite, FB Creator Studio, Buffer, or other scheduling tools

· Familiarity with analytics and ability to adjust plans accordingly for optimal engagement

· An understanding of the best use practices for social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

· A firm understanding of video copyright laws and YouTube’s terms of service. Prefer a working knowledge of SEO

· Ability to be proactive and create a plan

· Disciplined with time management

· High attention to detail

PERFECT FIT

· Able to plan, produce, and edit short videos for posts and stories

· Previous experience in marketing or managing social media

Pay: $38,108.10 - $45,893.63 per year
