Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload products efficiently while ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate traffic or weather conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any damages or discrepancies encountered during transport.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability of the delivery vehicle.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of products.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is advantageous.
