What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver-Training for PIC position at Jimmy John's?
You must have
-Drivers License for at least 18 months
-No high risk tickets on your record such as DUI or Reckless Driving
-1 year experience in food or shift leading
We are looking for strong individuals who have a strong work ethic.
We are looking for people who have experience in food and/or shift leading.
To start out we would have you working inshop and delivery driving.
We have some of our Shift Lead positions that will be opening up by the end of summer and we are looking to train you into being a Brand Amassador or PIC (person in charge).
Brand Ambassador Jobs:
-Slicing of meats and veggies
- Baking bread
-Knows recipes for side items
-Closes tills
-Trains new hires and works through thier checklist
PIC Jobs:
-Can open the store if needed
-Main job is closing the store
- Knows all recipes
- Slicing meats
- Baking bread
- Completeing paperwork
- Knows store based equations for PARS and bread needed
- Keeps the team on track with cleaning and restocking tasks
-Counts tills and safe and completes deposit
-Our Brand Amassadors would still have driving and inshop shifts, but with higher pay and some different focuses when on shift if there is a new hire
-Our PIC's have anywhere from 1-3 closing shifts a week. You can also learn how to be a 'backup PIC' if you don't want to have scheduled shifts and just be available to cover when needed, which can be opening or closing. The rest of the week you would either be a driver or an inshop, but those shifts do recieve what your base pay is. Your PIC shifts will have a higher wage.
To start off you will recieve online training and be working a checklist. After about 2 weeks you will receive a menu test, you get 3 tries to pass this test.
Once you pass you can start learning how to run the lines. Once you have gotten our day to day down pat, you will start to recieve higher training for being either a Brand Ambassador or a PIC. Ideally this should be able to start in 90 days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
