What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Jimmy Johns?
Assistant Managers (PIC) help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager/PIC plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive.
This Jimmy John’s is independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with Yimmy Yons a franchisor of the Jimmy John’s system.
Ability to work up to 40 hour week (or more as needed)
At least 18 years of age
At least 6 months of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience - managerial experience preferred, but not required
Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees
Reliable transportation
Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills
Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 25lbs. from one area to another occasionally)
Attendance and Punctuality a must!!!
