Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting project management activities, particularly in the construction sector. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to assist with various project-related tasks, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and management of construction contracts and documentation.
- Support project scheduling efforts to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Utilize construction management software, including Buildertrend, to track project progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop estimates for construction projects.
- Help coordinate activities on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain communication between Project Manager, including contractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to project status and performance metrics.
Experience
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is preferred.
- Experience in a construction site environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is essential.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Primavera or Prolog is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in construction management or related fields will be considered a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
