Established in 2007, the firm is a certified women-owned business with a presence in Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany, New York. With a mission to improve communities through collaborative strategies, they help governments and public agencies make informed decisions that enhance quality of life. This position will oversee daily operations, streamline workflows, and ensure seamless coordination between our clients and team members. This opportunity requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, leadership skills, and a passion for producing innovative planning and design solutions. As COO, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative culture and driving the studio’s growth while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Strengthen client relationships and expand core service areas.
- Oversee quality assurance and workload allocation, ensuring balance between business growth and staffing.
- Oversee business operations, ensuring alignment with vision, mission, and financial goals.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans, setting one-, three-, and ten-year goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and oversee strategic planning processes.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, emerging technologies, and service innovation.
- Drive lead generation, proposal processes, and marketing initiatives to meet sales targets.
- Cultivate client and partner relationships, overseeing competitive project proposals and thought leadership efforts.
- Foster a culture reflecting core values and support team development through mentoring and hiring.
- Ensure effective employee review processes and wellbeing initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting, profitability, and compliance.
- Oversee contracts, project management systems, and billing processes.
