JKMuir is seeking an experienced Process Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team! Fast-paced and at the leading edge of technology and efficiency, JKMuir offers a team-orientated, collaborative, and engaging environment where you will work directly with our clients on projects that make a difference. Hands-on field work gives you the opportunity to see equipment and technology in action and develop real-life solutions that have technical, environmental, and financial impacts.

We are a small but growing team of engineers focused on sustainability and climate resilience for public infrastructure projects, including but not limited to water/wastewater facilities, transportation, and urban design. We are making sustainable infrastructure a reality by supporting large- and small-scale projects, with detailed analytics around climate and carbon impacts, energy demand, waste diversion, and sustainable material sourcing. Some team members work in the office every day, while others have a hybrid arrangement or are fully remote.

We envision this being a full-time position; however, we are open to discussing a part-time arrangement with the right candidate. Although we are open to an in-office, hybrid, or remote arrangement, the preferred candidate will be located in the greater Boston area or willing to travel up to 10% of the time to support projects in the greater Boston area.
