Job Description
- Seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers with an interest in HVAC system design and consulting engineering. Our multi-disciplinary engineering teams are built on the core values of professional development, dedicated service, and collaboration.
- We are seeking Mechanical/HVAC Design Engineers for our office in Middletown, CT.
- Apply principles of mechanical system design, focused in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Perform engineering tasks related to mechanical/HVAC system design from design through construction management.
- Collaborate as part of the design team and utilize engineering design concepts.
- Become an expert with Autodesk Revit and Trane Trace applications.
- Perform engineering calculations, size and select mechanical equipment.
- Complete RFI's, submittals, engineering surveys and reports
- Conduct site observations and interact with clients, vendors and contractors.
- BS Degree in an accredited Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
- FE/EIT Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency with basic computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- A strong interest and desire to learn building systems design and construction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
- Self-motivated with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Real-world skills in building systems design.
