What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at JKV Engineering Corporation?
We are looking for a part time (with possibility to move to full-time) entry level fabricator. No experience is necessary, only a willingness to learn, interest in building things, and a can-do attitude. We design and fabricate a wide variety of products from architectural, and structural steel, to a complete zero-turn ride-on machine, to automotive prototypes. The position is entry level and as such you will be starting by learning to accurately measure, cut, and process a variety of materials from metal, to plastics, to wood. When this is consistently demonstrated you can learn fabrication from experienced welder/fabricators. During this time we will help to show you our quality standards and methodologies appropriate to the work we do. There is plenty of opportunity for growth in the position for anyone eager to learn and be a team player. We also operate a 5-axis CNC waterjet, CNC press brake, tube bender, MIG/TIG welding equipment and more.
