IS Oil Specialist Architect

<>Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal SAP S/4HANA Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA solutions for downstream oil and gas operations. This role requires deep expertise in SAP modules relevant to refining, marketing, distribution, and trading and the ability to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

<>Solution Architecture & Design:

• Lead the architecture and design of SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored for downstream oil and gas operations.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Develop and document end-to-end architectures covering key processes such as Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil).

<>Implementation Leadership:

• Drive full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA, from discovery to post-go-live support.
• Oversee data migration strategies and integrations with third-party systems to ensure seamless functionality and data integrity.
• Act as the primary technical leader, providing hands-on guidance and mentorship to functional and technical teams.

<>Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
• Lead workshops and design sessions to understand business needs and propose optimal solutions.
• Present architecture roadmaps and project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

<>Performance Optimization & Governance:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimization, and performance tuning within SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure adherence to organizational IT standards, industry regulations, and SAP best practices.
• Establish and enforce governance policies for SAP S/4HANA usage, customization, and security.

Qualifications & Skills:

<>Education & Experience:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12 years of SAP experience, including 5 years in an architect or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations within downstream oil and gas industries.

<>Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA modules: MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practices for Oil & Gas, including Hydrocarbon Product Management, Secondary Distribution, and Energy Pricing.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, ABAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration tools (SAP PI/PO, APIs) and data migration frameworks.

<>Leadership & Communication:

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale SAP projects.
• Consultative mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

<>Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Architecture, SAP IS-Oil).
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the oil and gas sector.
