Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead a team of talented iOS and Android engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow and learn.
Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define and deliver impactful mobile experiences.
Maintain a day-one mindset, challenge existing practices, and encourage an open and growth-oriented team culture.
Stay deeply involved in product, technology, and architectural details to create a feasible and high-quality development plan.
Ensure operational excellence by delivering highly available mobile experiences with a strong focus on quality, security, and performance metrics.
Proactively manage risks and dependencies, remove roadblocks, and handle pivots or scope changes efficiently.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in mobile development to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
8 years of experience in software engineering, with a passion for mobile development.
4 years of experience as a technical leader, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, customer-driven mobile applications.
Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering teams, and fostering a culture of innovation.
Ability to articulate product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen.
Experience with Agile methodologies and SaaS technologies.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience working with global teams (preferred).
Expertise in software design and architecture.
Strong understanding of iOS and Android development platforms and ecosystems.
Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
Experience with mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP, etc.) and design patterns.
Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
