Reports to: Visualization Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality architectural renderings and animations for client presentations, marketing materials, and project proposals.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project concepts and requirements.
- Utilize advanced 3D modeling and rendering software to create visualizations that accurately represent architectural designs.
- Support the rendering workflow, ensuring timely delivery of visual materials.
- Assist in the development of virtual reality presentations as needed.
- Maintain JLG’s library of models, materials, and assets for use in visualizations.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in architectural visualization.
- Apply advanced texturing, lighting, and shading techniques to create lifelike and expressive visuals.
- All other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience in architectural visualization or related field, focusing on rendering and animation.
- Developing proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Twinmotion/Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs.
- Demonstrated ability to produce both photorealistic and stylized renderings/animations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and materiality.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Professional degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience with VR technology and software.
- Knowledge of architectural terms.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with design teams and clients.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing software.
- Creativity and willingness to explore new artistic approaches and techniques in visualization, including AI implementation and workflows.
