Overview:
The AR Deployment Specialist will be responsible for deployment and launch of AR related programs and hardware, rapid response to emergency downtime events, and deployment and development of best practices on behalf of robotics while enhancing equipment reliability as it pertains to the predictive and preventative maintenance practices. This position will also provide hands-on technical expertise to identify and fix critical issues while providing hands on SME (Subject Matter Expert) support to site level technicians on how to properly execute all of the above. This position is not only a leader in the Robotics Space, but also a technical expert and coach with the ability to deploy at a site level leaving the local team better prepared for future AR requirements. This position will report to the AR Deployment Program Manager.

Responsibilities will include:
- Provide deployment support of critical and timely Robotics programs and initiatives as determined by the client team
- Provide technical leadership, expertise, and training to site during launch
- Assist and support emergency response to sites during extenuated downtime events with little notice
- Find, correct, teach, and drive corrective actions based on preventative maintenance audits to increase operational up-time for a site and the entire Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) network
- Provide technical direction and guidance in system issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis supporting as an AR SME (Robotics Subject Matter Expert)
- Coach and mentor Technicians by providing clear and concise guidance and direction, as well as the ability to demonstrate proper procedures and protocol to help them achieve site and network Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)
- Ability to work all days and shifts, including overnight and weekends
- Ability to travel 100% of the time; first location is HOU6
- Ability to rapidly deploy during downtime emergencies in support of site recovery
- Proven ability to lead as a technician while successfully operating in an autonomous environment
- Experience working within large, diverse, matrixed and remote teams
- Demonstrated adherence to site safety training requirements and initiatives with an unyielding focus on personal and team safety
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, and senior leadership
- Robust knowledge of:
- Robotics (AR) Programs
- Knowledge of CMMS programs
- Preventative maintenance procedures
- AR Safety Practices
- ARU (FAST Certified)
- ARU (Advanced Certified)
- ARSAW Maintenance
- Floor health standards, drivers and mitigation techniques
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and modify program AR components
- Strong skills in areas of organization and process management
- Results driven – the ability to analyze, act, and implement to ensure desired results are achieved

- Self-motivated and customer-centric
- Experience in business analysis and process re-engineering
- Experience with email and MS Excel
- Leadership experience/aptitude
- 3 years of AR experience
- Experience traveling and supporting launch and emergency response requests
- Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
- Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 pounds
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces
