What this job involves: The Building Renovation Project Manager will be managing various project scopes in an assigned region, primarily focusing on small works/small projects. The selected candidate will lead cross-functional teams, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure successful project delivery while meeting established goals. The position requires a focus on project-specific needs, client initiatives, and continuous process improvement. Travel will be required within an assigned region.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Managing multiple renovation and building infrastructure projects across a large geographic area
Leading cross-functional teams of design professionals, general contractors, and speciality contractors
Tracking and reporting project financials, milestone schedules, and status updates
Overseeing projects from initiation through design, planning, construction, and financial closeout
Developing risk management plans and guiding teams through work authorization processes
Preparing accurate project documentation and reports for all construction phases
Participating in client decision-making by providing data, recommendations, and risk assessments
Managing vendors to ensure compliance with project policies and procedures
Utilizing Corrigo for project management
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in design and construction
Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, design and space planning concepts
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
Preferred:
Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification
PMP Certification
