What this job involves - We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Facility Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings managed by JLL. You will ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Install and maintain building automation and energy management systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other trades and facility management team members on projects and maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical work.
- Furnish own tools
- Any and all other tasks assigned as needed
- 3 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Understanding of lighting systems, MCC, ATS, and VFD’s.
- Documentation skills for regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Capable installing power feeds from panels to new locations.
- Familiarity with GMP/GXP guidelines
- Valid electrician's license in State of Florida
- Vocational training or associate's degree in electrical technology
- Experience with building automation systems and energy management systems
- Knowledge of PLC’s
- Working inside od warehouse and production facility
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Able to stand, walk, climb, and maintain balance for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends for emergency calls.
