About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Furniture Installation Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of furniture installation projects, from initial site surveys to final punch list completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Conduct thorough site surveys to identify project needs, potential risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and manage comprehensive furniture installation schedules for assigned projects.
- Create and oversee work orders for renovation projects, ensuring timely execution.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to facilitate the deployment of existing furniture as needed.
Installation Oversight:
- Manage on-site furniture installation processes, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project punch lists and schedule punch walks with stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain tracking systems for open items and project progress.
- Liaise between JLL, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Furniture Assessment and Asset Management:
- Evaluate furniture from decommissioned areas to determine reusability and optimal allocation.
- Document items slated for disposal and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper disposal procedures are followed and all asset movements are accurately recorded.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit Project Scope of Work (PSW) documents for client approval of labor costs.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and final project summaries.
- Communicate project updates, changes, and critical information to all relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in furniture installation and asset management procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in office furniture and installation techniques.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in furniture installation coordination, office relocation, or similar role.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Knowledge of office furniture systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
- Experience with CAD software is a plus.
