We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills. You should be able to work independently, read technical drawings, and have experience with a wide range of HVAC equipment and ancillary systems.
What You Will Do:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment located both inside and outside our portfolio of buildings
- Conduct routine and ongoing assessments of building systems operations, monitoring mechanical operating equipment
- Assist in monitoring the operation of refrigeration, heat exchangers, HVAC, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment, as well as ventilation systems, valves, piping, and filters
- Perform senior-level troubleshooting, service, and maintenance on Controlled Temperature Units (CTU) and HVAC systems, including controls, air handlers, BMS, actuators, pumps, valves, dampers, and motors
- Operate and maintain ventilation equipment, air conditioning, water conditioning/treatment, and refrigeration systems
- Manage ancillary systems such as cooling towers, pumps, and chillers
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, related piping, and controls
- Work from CAD drawings, prints, schematics, sketches, or verbal instructions
- Adapt and install specialized cooling and/or heating devices for specific requirements
- Apply water treatment methods and procedures for cooling and hot water circulation systems, including testing basic parameters, troubleshooting system problems, and repairing equipment as needed
- Perform installation and replacement of relevant HVAC system components
- Maintain good tenant relations through prompt and courteous response to requests within JLL guidelines
- Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required
- Work through complicated tasks independently
- Assist other mechanics and operators with major maintenance and repairs of building equipment
- Contribute to and own areas of refrigeration management
