The Role
As a Manager within the Clean Energy and Infrastructure (CE&I) Advisory team, you'll be an essential member of a client-facing delivery team. The ideal candidate will have professional experience developing and implementing power and energy infrastructure projects in one of the specific areas of CE&I's delivery (e.g., renewables, microgrids, distributed energy, EV charging infrastructure), quantitative analysis and modelling skills, intellectual curiosity, problem solving skills, and a passion for clean energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Support all aspects of project execution, leveraging existing professional and educational skills and growing expertise in discrete areas that support CE&I's project delivery. Project types will include a variety of clean energy infrastructure solutions for private and public-sector clients with an emphasis on renewables, microgrids, EV charging, and energy storage.
Develop project deliverables, including planning & strategy documents, project development, technical and financial feasibility analysis, PowerPoint decks, and other technical memoranda.
Perform energy economic analysis through modeling load data, utility tariffs, and technical parameters for distributed energy resources.
Perform feasibility, pro forma and cash flow analysis for specific energy projects.
Analyze and recommend infrastructure solutions.
Perform research in support of client deliverables including regulatory, market and industry assessments.
Review the terms of agreements for transactions and projects (financing agreements, construction contracts, operations and maintenance contracts, power purchase agreements, concession agreements, etc.).
Serve as a liaison with the client and present on initiatives.
Assist staff with administrative, organizational, and business development tasks.
Demonstrate critical thinking for complex problems and ability to support conclusions and recommendations in deliverables.
Support project management activities (schedules, client agendas, presentation decks, etc.)
Monitor energy and sustainability developments pertinent to the operating environment.
Collaborate with other team members as needed to perform research and meet deliverables.
Ability to lead small to medium-sized projects and mentoring junior team members.
Support team operations and identify operational efficiencies.
Demonstrate critical and innovative thinking, working with CE&I team members to generate new ideas that bring value to our clients.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, sustainability, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in one of CE&I's core delivery areas: microgrids, renewables, distributed energy, or EV charging infrastructure.
Experience in energy consumption, tariff, and life cycle cost analysis.
Experience in and detailed understanding of energy and regulatory markets, as it relates to project development and implementation in the clean energy sector.
Good communication and writing skills and ability to distil complex technical concepts into decision-oriented briefs.
Attention to detail and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Passionate about working towards a sustainable future.
Big Four, consulting, and/or developer experience a plus.
Proficiency in MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other energy modelling systems (e.g. Homer).
