Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Actively prospect, generate, and pursue new business opportunities with commercial and residential contractors in the construction and building sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and construction managers.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products and services to customers.
- Solution Selling: Work with customers to understand their project needs and recommend the most appropriate building materials, ensuring they receive optimal value.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to contractors, helping them understand the advantages and benefits of using our products.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company guidelines and close deals that meet both customer needs and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative in the building materials or construction industry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, including products used in both residential and commercial construction projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with contractors, architects, and project managers.
