Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Legal Billing Specialist to join our dynamic hybrid team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle of the invoice preparation process while ensuring that all invoices are accurate, compliant with client requirements, and submitted in a timely manner. This role demands strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and administrative staff. This position reports to the local Billing Supervisor and/or Manager. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Edits Prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on the request from the Billing Attorneys
- Generates a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant.
- Ensures that all invoices are compliant with the billing guidelines and that all required supporting documentation is compiled prior to submission.
- Submits ebills via EHub, including all supporting documentation.
- Monitors and immediately address any invoice rejections, reductions, and those needing appeals.
- Responds to billing inquiries.
- Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed and/or requested.

Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Biller required.
- Aderant or Elite/3E preferred, Prebill Viewer, E-billing Hub, Bill Blast
- Proficiency in Excel required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
