Job Overview
We are looking for an individual to come in 1-2 times a week to help with our office bookkeeping, permitting and recording. Days and hours can be flexible and can fit your schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting daily office functions and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere. We are a small construction company that needs some part time help.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
- Perform various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to facilitate workflow.
- Work on openning and closing town permits, job breakdowns and compliances
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for this role.
- Basic understanding of budgeting principles is a plus.
- Experience with calendar management tools is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving office processes.
- Expeirence with MassSave programs is a plus
- Expeirence with Excel, Word and Quickbooks is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
