Plumbing Mechanic – Licensed Journeymen / Master
Oliver Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, Morton PA is a family-owned business looking for a Journeymen and/or Master licensed plumbing mechanic with 8 years’ experience for residential service and installation. Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to install, repair and perform maintenance on all types of plumbing systems.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to bend, walk, crawl, climb ladders, kneel, lift up to 50lbs.
- Minimum 7 to 10-years’ experience
- Must have Journeyman’s License, Master plumbing license a plus.
- Sales training a plus.
- Must be experienced in the service industry.
- Service tech that possesses skills to educate customers on deficiencies found in the home and give options on ways we can help them.
Qualifications
- Experienced in sewer cleaning, repair, and replacement.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential applications.
- Inspects joints, valves, pumps, boilers, water heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, valves, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and repairs or replaces when necessary.
- Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
- Performs preventative maintenance work as required.
- Knowledge and experience of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the plumbing trade
- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes
- Mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, water heaters, and other plumbing components
- 7-10 years of Residential Plumbing experience

Working Conditions:
Environment:
- Drive a vehicle to conduct work.
- Working in residential homes and outside weather conditions (heat/cold/weather).
- Regular interruptions.
- Department meetings/training.
