What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite Technician position at JM TEST SYSTEMS LLC?
JM Test Systems, LLC is looking for an Entry Level Technician to inspect, clean, and test electrical equipment, following general lab standards to ensure the equipment meets safety standards.
No industry experience required – we’ll provide the training needed!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Traveling required
- Basic mechanical or technical skills are a plus, but not required
- Ability to handle equipment with care
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Basic computer skills to operate software and follow testing procedures
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to professionally represent JM Test Systems and provide excellent customer service
- Must be at least 21 years old to meet insurance and company regulations

TRAVELING INCENTIVES:
- Technicians are paid their base rate plus $2.00 an hour when assigned to work a project.
- JM Test Systems will provide meal subsistence to all Technicians who are away for a minimum of 12 hours and 50 or more miles from their designated home office.
- JM Test Systems covers all travel expenses, which include:
- Vehicle
- Fuel
- Hotel Stay
- JM Test Systems will cover the cost of TWIC and OSHA cards for all designated Onsite Technicians, as well as the renewal fees.
- JM Test Systems will provide all PPE that is required for particular projects.
