The Engine Technician troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components. Key responsibilities include :
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
- Remove / install / replace aircraft engines and accessories
- Assist with performing complete engine runs
- Assist with off-aircraft component repair
- Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
