What are the responsibilities and job description for the NHTD/TBI Program Director position at JMD Care Services, Inc?
This Program Director will be responsible for the daily operation of the TBI and NHTD Medicaid Waiver Programs. The Waiver Programs are designed to assist individuals with maximizing their independence and aide in keeping individuals in the community and avoid placement into a skilled nursing facility.
The program serves seniors as well as people living with disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injuries and assists with helping individuals gain access to services to promote their independence within the community. The Program Director would be responsible for training of waiver staff associated with the programs, quality assurance/ improvement, regulatory compliance with the NYS DOH, and overall business growth. The Program Director is also responsible for overseeing service components of the program including Case Management, Home Care, Skills Building, and Counseling and assist with the expansion of the waiver program.
Responsibilities
- Daily operation of the TBI and NHTD Medicaid Waiver Programs serving Long Island and Queens
- Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
- Oversee and supervise service coordinators documentation and activity
- Ensure home care aide quality assurance
- Oversee incident management end to end process
- Expand program onboarding new participants
- Ensure regulatory compliance with NYS DOH rules
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
Skills /Requirements
- Must have a minimum, 2 years of experience in providing case management / service coordination, for community-based services for individuals with disabilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
