CNC Machinists
3-6 months Contract to Hire
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm with Overtime
ASAP Start Dates
100% Onsite (17 Everberg Drive – Woburn, MA) - prefers local candidates
Small shop with only 3-4 employees
CNC Machinists to join our their team in Woburn, MA. The ideal candidates will need to have a strong background in CNC machining, including set-up, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and mills. This position requires a detail-oriented professionals with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, monitor machine operations, and ensure high-quality production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of four (2-4) years of experience in CNC lathe and mill setup, programming, and operation.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality output.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make necessary machine adjustments.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Prior use of Milltronic machines and Prototrak Lathes is desired but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with various CNC programming languages and controls.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
