Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising crew members, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid to track project progress and manage resources effectively.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide the construction process and ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Schedule project tasks, allocate resources, and manage timelines to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by crew members to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members in the use of tools and equipment, including Ohmmeters for electrical work.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions throughout the construction phase.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring that all materials are stored safely and equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including project scheduling and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
