Job Overview
Our client is an EDM manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee their manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Manage production planning and contract review
- Supervise and train production staff responsible for inspection of products and maintenance of equipment
- Manage and report on preventative maintenance activities
- Train employees as necessary on safe setup and operation of equipment, part cleaning, handling and inspection
- Customer and Supplier communication on quality and delivery issues
- Assist with complaint resolution and customer questions
- Communication of company goals, policies and objectives
- Prepare and present results and reports to corporate management
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices
- Flexibility to effectively cover first and second shift hours as well as possible weekend hours based on need
