What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager - Chemical Manufacturing position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently engaged in an Operations Manager search for our client, an industrial manufacturer located in the Bellefonte, PA area. This role presents a valuable succession planning opportunity, as the current Plant Manager is set to retire. We will provide relocation for candidates not currently in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Owns and manages all aspects of plant production processes.
- Will oversee and provide support to Production Supervisors in a non-union, 24/5 batch manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates closely with the Maintenance Manager and Engineering team to ensure the successful achievement of all operational goals.
- Will develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Will Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancements.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with leading teams in a chemical manufacturing operation
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Lean and/or continuous improvement experience
- Strong leadership ability

Salary : $160,000 - $185,000
