Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $17.00 hourly
Shifts: Monday – Thursday | 6:30am – 5pm --- Fridays if need be
Requirements & Skills:
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills with ability to work and train others
- Math, problem solving, basic computer skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrates ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors on production equipment
- Possesses knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment
- Ability to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout complete shift
- Is familiar with manufacturing safety procedures and guidance
Primary Duties Include:
- Understands the basic principles of mechanical set ups
- Must be able to work hours as scheduled, including OT and mandatory/voluntary Saturdays
- Read and understand the BOM and Fill Sheet
- Lead a team of production employees in a professional and productive manner
- Ability to follow quality standards to attain customer satisfaction
- Understands the importance of safety/housekeeping
- Identify/address behavioral and safety concerns. Report issues to the proper department when needed
- Complete and submit daily production documents at shift end
- Interact with other departments to ensure the transfer of information in a professional and timely manner
- Ability to train skills to co-workers, including other line leads, and production employees and act as a resource for them to learn
- Follow the principles of LEAP and has a understanding of corporate policy
- Strong communication skills and able to grow interpersonal relations
- Must be reliable and have good attendance
- Must be able to resolve conflict effectively and efficiently
- Strong mechanical ability with basic math and solid problem-solving skills
- Must be able to stand for 8-to-10-hour shifts
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
