Starting Pay: $25
Shift(s): 7 am – 3 pm & on call for break downs
Requirements & Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, or industrial equipment repair.
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
· Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and IDEM regulations regarding equipment maintenance.
· Experience with crane operation and inspection.
· Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for industrial machinery.
· Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and regulatory guidelines.
· Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergency maintenance needs.
Primary Duties Include:
· All maintenance activities are planned for and scheduled to a frequency specified EITHER by the equipment manufacturer or by the appropriate government regulatory body (EPA / OSHA/ IDEM).
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Crane Inspection - Quarterly mechanical inspection & lubrication Ability to move steel lathe rolls using a remote overhead crane.
- Crane Inspection – Daily visual inspection
- Changing dielectric oil for the EDT machine. (As needed, but usually after 100-150 rolls have been processed).
- Electrode Head and Bath Assemblies – as needed.
- Changing oil filters on production equipment. As needed, based on measured parameters on checklist. Min. 3 times /week.
- Checking coolant on grinders -Min. 2 times /week.
- Emission Control System –Inspections - Daily
- Emission Control System – Preventative Maintenance & Repairs – every 3 months.
- Plating Chiller Maintenance – each month.
- Plating Equipment Preventative Maintenance – each week
- Preventative maintenance on all electric motors (worn brushes, appearance of commutators, cleanliness lubrication and evaluation of motor operation) every 6 months.
- Fork truck preventative maintenance, oil change, filters, grease per owners manual.
- Identify equipment problems at an early stage and prevent breakdowns, process equipment operators are instructed to monitor tool wear, process performance, vibrations, etc., and report any abnormal functioning on a Maintenance Work Order form.
- Emergency and preventative maintenance.
